Charity and Non-Profit Projects

We have worked extensively for British wildlife charity the Wildlife Trusts. Projects included creating the award for the 'Natural World' book of the year, several exhibitions and a conference backdrop for Sir David Attenborough's opening speech at their conference. I volunteered to help set up the conference and was introduced to David as the person who found the conference bat. I found it fast asleep over the door to the conference venue, so everyone had to enter via a side door.

VSO the international volunteering charity asked us to create a road sign to indicate where the Members of Parliament were from and where they were volunteering to work overseas. This required a quick-change mechanism for the arms as the MPs came in for their photographs in quick succession with just a few moments to spare.

The Fairtrade Foundation asked us to supply a large, robust printed mat so that children at events could play Snakes and Ladders where they were the counters. The children would try to answer questions as they progressed through the game, learning about fair trade principles.

We designed a brochure for the RAF Benevolent Fund to encourage companies to sponsor places in the Flying Scholarships for Disabled People scheme.

We sourced multi-colour printed bandanas for the Blue Cross's 'take your dog to work day'. The charity invited supporters to send them photos of their dogs proudly wearing the bandana at their workplace. That's the supporters' workplaces and not the dog's!
